The Town of Hamilton is the host town The Eastern Essex Regional Public Health Coalition is a shared services partnership funded by the Massachusetts Public Health Excellence (PHE) grant, bringing together the towns of Hamilton, Wenham, Essex, and Rockport. The coalition strengthens local capacity by sharing skilled regional staff and standardizing key public health services.
The Regional Social Worker provides direct support to residents in need, offering a place to discuss concerns while helping navigate local, state and federal resources. They also collaborate with schools, councils on aging and first responders to assist vulnerable individuals and families.
The Regional Shared Services Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Public Health Excellence (PHE) grant. Their role is centered around coordinating local administration of the PHE grant, advancing regional collaboration between Hamilton, Essex, Wenham, and Rockport, supporting staffing efforts, and spearheading reporting.
The Regional Epidemiologist leads disease surveillance and response efforts across the coalition, managing cases through the MAVEN system, analyzing public health trends, and coordinating with state and local partners to support data-driven decision-making.
Through this regional approach, the EERPHC delivers more responsive, coordinated, and equitable public health services to its communities.
